They have the new commercials with Carmen Harlan.

Ok, so she ended up working at Gardner-White because it's the family business.

Rachel is a fourth generation leader of the company.

That's what I recently noticed. I was like, whoa, there she is! I feel like Harlan mostly went away from the spotlight but wouldn't you know it, she's doing good old local commercials now. Just like Mort Crim, who I swear was a Majic Windows salesman for like a decade. Or Bill Bonds, who also shilled Gardner White.

Its a pretty solid move having Harlan in the commercials IMHO. Shes a well known and easily recognizable local "celebrity" that, lets face it, probably didnt cost all that much to book. So win-win from the GW perspective.
Stewart, unlike many local pitchmen, seems very at ease and natural in front of the camera and as per the point of thread, looks pretty good when the hair and makeup are done.

I think it works better when former anchors go with the more relatable pitch instead of the more professional pitch. Does anyone remember when Emery King, right after WDIV didn't renew his contract (in an incredibly dumb move), was doing commercials for .... I want to say the DMC? It had the gravitas. That was good for him, but I feel like people will enjoy seeing Harlan in the GW commercial more.

Between the two of them G-W is cornering the middle and later age intelligent and attractive woman demographic. :rollin
