No, I am talking about stuff like Mumford and Sons, Nathaniel Radcliffe, and other singer song writer stuff like Mat Kearney.

To be fair, they also had classic gold in the survey like Alice In Chains and even Metallica.

Seems like they are feeling their way out.

By the way, Lazlo continues on. Word is they have a temporary contract and our in talks later this week for something more permanent.
Now that’s what I want to hear. Sounds like they’re inching toward a triple A/alt hybrid… I would definitely listen to that.

I still say a lot of 90s and 00s gold would help tremendously. Idk if more AAA stuff would help. Detroit doesn't do well with "too hip for the room" stuff.

The most interesting part of that show is the dead air.

I listened to it for five minutes once. That was enough for me. How the fuck does that show fit an alternative station?

Or they just wanted to gauge interest. Definitely cannot guarantee that they will even tweak the format.

Your smartphone is a radio. I have radios that are still in sealed packaging, never been opened, stored in the basement. I'll sell you one. You might need it if the internet crashes.

I have a 2 Sony SRF-59’s that are currently priced at $80. on Amazon still sealed, I paid $15. back in 2005. I also have a few Panasonic and Sony Walkman cassette/radios that are all still factory sealed. I’m saving these for my grandchildren. It’s kinda cool seeing these radios from decades ago. The Sony Walkmans when they first came out in 1979 were selling for $200. I do have a used Sony Walkman from 1984 that believe it or not, still works great. In 1984 I paid $120. for that cassette/radio.

Smartphones are not really radios. I do not hear commercials for 10 mins.
