When I was young we lived on Lahser. Always pronounced it Lasher. Sounding wrong any other way.

I thought it was pronounced "Laa-sir"?

I go back to the premise that it was pronounced differently in Oakland County than Wayne County way back when. It sounds like it has changed.

I work a few blocks from Lahser. My former co-worker would pronounce it "Law-jerr" .... people would always 2nd question him when he was giving directions to our office. LOL ..... LAW-JERR
