It seems to me if we wanted a coach who could win 8 or 9 games a year but lose to our biggest rivals and stink up bowl games, we could do that for a lot less money than we are paying Harbaugh. I'm not surprised if I see coaching of this caliber on Sundays, but forgive me if I have slightly higher expectations for Michigan.

I will give credit where credit is due though. The Spartans came in and played like they gave a damn in all phases of the game and have earned bragging rights for another year.

Their corners got whooped. The running game could be decent if the line blocked better. The team sucks even more than I thought.

I thought it was going to be a blowout writen all over it for Michigan beating MSU today MSU came to play Michigan didn't seem to want to play today. Congrats to Mel Tucker on winning his first game at MSU and also beating Michigan his first time as well as the last coach at MSU win the debut VS Michigan was Nick Saban in 95.

Offense didn't lose the game, the defense did. Losing Ambry Thomas to an opt out hurt badly, as does Don Brown's unwillingness to play zone. The receivers are young, and Jackson, Johnson, and Wilson have a lot of promise.

Your original description about describes Bo’s tenure, he could beat Ohio State, won several Big 10 Championships, he had a losing bowl record and no National Championships.

Beating Ohio State was a massive feather in his cap and it’s a big part of why he’s celebrated...

Ohio State will roll to a B1G title. The championship game will be ugly as they'll likely be a heavy favorite, likely against the Purdue-Northwestern winner. Wisconsin should be dinged with forfeit losses in the games they lost due to COVID (especially if players were out in public maskless) and they'll likely lose a game or two on the field when/if they resume playing as they'll be shorthanded most of the season.
