Pistons are getting REALLY sloppy on offense and the Knicks are canning threes and scoring on turnovers. This has gotta change if our boys want a chance in this game.
66-53 Knicks at the half.
(Edit)
How can 6-10 Jalen Duren win a jump ball against 6-2 Jalen Brunson and tap it out-of-bounds?

It's stuff like this that loses a close game.
(Edit)
Final 118-116 Knicks

Duren was terrible much of the game, and both Beasley and especially Harris were complete garbage on offense.
Schroder and Hardaway were the reasons this game was even close. They were both outstanding.
Cunningham shot a crappy 36 percent from the field.
It is miraculous the Pistons lost by only 2.
Cunningham is NOT a superstar. He proved that last night. Am I glad he's a Piston? Absolutely, but he's no superstar (he *is* an all-star), and he cannot be counted on to deliver in game critical situations.
That botched inbound pass with 0.5 seconds on the clock was Duren's fault, though. A drunk person could've thrown a more accurate pass than that.
Those fans deserved a win; they were incredible. The Pistons let them down.

Yeah, I meant to mention that as well. It would've been a thousand-to-one shot, but still....

I thought Cade was 9 of 25 shooting. He was actually 10 of 25. So, FG% was 40 pct as opposed to 36 pct.
Had that pass connected, and had Cade sank a buzzer beater, that would've been one of the all-time great finishes in NBA history. It's amazing that ball rolled out of bounds, untouched, off a rare Knicks FT miss to preserve that 0.5 seconds on the game clock. Knicks fans were likely sweating (and swearing).

I was thinking the same thing. Too bad we couldn't deliver the
coup de grâce.

Admittedly, I don't watch much NBA at all but was switching between that game and the draft last night. End of the first half, Pistons were down three and had the ball with 18 seconds left. Rather than wait for the last shot, they hoist up a quick three, miss it, Knicks get the rebound and put in a bucket at the buzzer.INEXCUSABLE. I'll bet they wished they played that one correctly looking at the final score.

That moment made me incensed. Malik Beasley, who had a terrible game, was the culprit.

The defense in the NBA is a complete joke.
