Pistons win 115-106. They were down 13 in the third.

Milwaukee is playing New Orleans tonight.

Cunningham put the team on his shoulders tonight. Outstanding second half performance by him.

Isaiah Stewart was scoreless in 22 minutes of floor time tonight. And despite playing only 22 minutes, he fouled out. However, the Pistons were +5 during his time on the floor, I believe. So, his presence made a positive impact defensively.

Duren, Holland and Harris (great to see him back) all had very good games. Ausar Thompson struggled, going 0-4 from the field (all 3 of his points came at the charity stripe). He did have 2 blocks to his credit, though.

Duren was a perfect 9-9 from the field.

Cunningham outscored Brunson 36 to 15. Not bad!

The Pistons took the season series VS the Knicks who aren't good when facing good teams. I think the Pistons win 2 games in the first round will give the Knicks or Pacers fits in my opinion.

If we play the Knicks, we will win the series.

Pistons are only down by a bucket with 2:39 to play after trailing by 22 in the second quarter.

Cunningham did not dress; he's fine. Bickerstaff didn't want to risk injury in a game that will have no bearing on playoff seeding.

Harris played limited minutes.

Pistons lose in OT. Lindy Waters of all guys (who?) hit a game tying triple for the Pistons from the corner with 1.9 left in regulation to send the game to OT. No fault of the Bucks; the shot was well contested.

I don't believe any usual Pistons starter played more than 12 minutes tonight, and guys near the end of the bench in multiple cases received over 20 minutes of floor time tonight.

Duren played 8 minutes total! Harris 10 minutes. Subs played the entire OT session for DET. Beasley did play 19 minutes. Sasser led DET in playing time with 43 minutes.

Thompson, Schroder, Cunningham and Stewart did not play at all this afternoon.

Milwaukee did not play Giannis, Lopez or Portis. Kuzma played limited minutes. A scrub SG/SF for the Bucks who has never been more than a journeyman, Pat Connaughton, led all scorers with 43 points!

Milwaukee dominated in the extra session unfortunately.

Both major daily papers in our town have gone full bore with Pistons cornbread articles the past couple days.

Either the Freep or Det News have 3 such articles on their home page as we speak.

What an epic disaster of a fourth quarter. That was humiliating. Inexcusable to cede a 21 - 0 run to your opponent. Pistons turned to shit the instant Cunningham returned to the game after getting some rest.

And Minnesota beat the Lakers at home by 22. Apparently the six seed can win on the road.

OKC defeated Memphis by 51 points this afternoon!

Even long after the game became a total blowout and a completely lost cause, Memphis' interim head coach hesitated to put Luke Kennard in the game. :rollin

Kennard was finally subbed into the game in the early 4th after OKC's lead had grown to 47.

Marvin Bagley III was one of the few Memphis players who played well on offense. He was 8 of 8 shooting in the 1st half and drained a 50 footer at the buzzer heading into halftime!

Looks like they're headin' back to Motown tied 1-1 after a tough grinder of a Game 2. Great effort on defense all game and a clutch triple late by Schroeder. Marvelous heart-thumper of a win!

What a relief. Pistons were on the verge of shitting the bed but held on! Terrible night shooting wise for Beasley. Schroder's late triple was awesome.
