How do I get Antenna TV in the Detroit area? The guide shows that it should be on 20.2, but that’s not the case.

I contacted Solid Signal and they recommend the HD8200XL. Wanted to hear what people think before I order anything. With my hd stacker, (I know it is not made for low vhf) I can get WHNE at night until about noon the next day.
Indoor: 2 RCA rabbit ears, one disassembled, and attached to the other one with some metal tape to make an 8 ft dipole. Should work within 13 miles.

Outdoor: A directional yagi rated for low VHF, probably something by Channel Master.

WHNE made a Facebook post, informing that some so called "Low VHF" antennas don't really work for Low VHF. But Channel Master is a very reputable company.

Flat antennas may work within 5 miles.

Unfortunately I’m getting one of the PBS channels on 20.2 (in Novi).

You do realize that WTVS/PBS broadcasts on channel 20 now. They're RF channel is 20 with Display/PSIP channel 56.

WYMD's RF channel is 31 now with Display/PSIP still on channel 20.

I realize that WTVS broadcasts on 20 now. Then what channel do I enter for Antenna TV, with the recent RePack?

I don't know for sure, but you're trying to watch WMYD which has a PSIP channel of 20 and has for years. It seems your TV is not seeing or reacting to the WMYD PSIP info and letting WTVS RF channel appear on your TV.

I've heard of the off brand cheaper TV sets having issues receiving the PSIP information, but don't know if that's what is happening at your house or not.

If you don't figure out something, I would call the engineering department at WMYD to see if they can help you.

WMYD did its repack transition from RF 21 to RF 31 back on June 21, 2019, one of the three local Phase 3 moves.

Thanks again for the help. I did another rescan (last one was done a few weeks ago), and 20.2 now shows Antenna TV.

So STA's, but everyone is on their final parking spot. Can any obtain a power increase if coverage is less than before?

WUDT is still on 23 and hasn't moved to 8, but I always remove WUDT from my channel list, not even sure I will notice if they do move.

It was funny WHNE 3 had become completely unwatchable for the last two weeks, until the rain came on Friday, now all back to normal. So I was having some strange refraction issues that are now gone.
