Re: Ron Cameron
What's the thinking here on the over/under on the size of Ron's listening audience?
Re: Ron Cameron
Terry Foster has a presence there:

Do the callers have access to a toll-free number? Without - possibly - email access, Ron can't afford to lose a reliable caller like Cowboy.

Per Twitter, R Sizzle had his meeting in Howell. He loves it overlooks a golf course.
Farmington Hills is later today. IHeart is still there, could it be WDFN? I didn't know they brokered anymore, considering they kicked Warren Pierce off. Given their current format, that would be absolutely hilarious.

Re: Ron Cameron
I don’t think so. In one of the ‘17 shows that Bobbert posted, Ron half-jokingly (?) referred to his “five” listeners! I can’t imagine it’d be more than a couple hundred. I wonder if this thread has created some listeners. Anybody here whose interest in Ron’s show was piqued by the Board?

Same with me.If there was no thread I would not have been aware of Ron's show.radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 11:44 am I would say I started listening after reading the board and remembering him from my younger days and the talk show on TV he had and working from home during Covid.
Re: Ron Cameron
I question whether he’ll even mention what he said. But I have little doubt he’ll trash WDTK at his new station. THAT is “Ron’s way.”radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 11:50 am You have to wonder when he gets back on, how ron is going to spin it in “Ron’s way”
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron is so clueles I can hear him saying,"I didn't know I was doing anthing wrong George Wallace and Lester Maddox use that word all the time"radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 11:50 amYou have to wonder when he gets back on, how ron is going to spin it in “Ron’s way”

Re: Ron Cameron
Three Ron-related points: 1. I too found my interest in Mr. Cameron's broadcasts revived by this thread. 2. Thanks to briangoleb14 for mentioning that WHMI streams, as the station's website made no reference to the practice. 3. The website did provide links for podcasts, perhaps Ron could again have a podcast provider.

There’s one thing we can all count on: we will all know from right here on the BuzzBoard if Scoop rises like a Phoenix and makes it back on the radio this weekend or whenever!
