In Ron's case, it's also important to not "miss an eat," in the restaurants where he gets free meals. In Ron's world of constantly living on the edge, those free meals probably make a big difference in his budget.

Where will all of the out of work sportscasters, has been athletes, and other D list sports celebrities in town find an outlet for their faded life stories. Does Mark Wilson even have a reason now to get out of bed? What about the ensuing economic recession his loyal advertisers are sure to suffer due to their relegation back into certain obscurity. Where will the Lovely Ladies trim? Will anyone ever yell "Bingo" again? Where do I go to purchase my "day old scallops"? The ghosts at the Fenton Hotel must be rolling over in their graves.

This whole debacle is sure to cause havoc in local sports and business circles for years and years to come............or at least until Ron can buy time at some other flea bag radio station.
Don't forget the Big Three callers (Mr. Positive, Cowboy, and Kurt). Mr. Positive and Cowboy have always prided themselves on how much they call radio stations. And Kurt has a compulsive way of talking that makes you think that calling Ron's show is an important outlet for his personality. I think Ron's absence will also be a big absence in their lives.

I think this settles the discussion on Ron's whereabouts on November 22, 1963.

That's great, thanks. Is it me, or does Ron - blissfully unaware of the carnage that's soon to transpire - appear to be thinking about the whereabouts of Ray Scott?

As a reminder of how nothing of this is true:

I laughed out loud at the cascade of errors in that statement.
A golden oldie, but another instance - beginning at 8:22 - of the then-Jack Morris-bashing Ron making of a story from whole cloth:

Ron was almost brought to tears when he received a bouquet of red roses, with a note from Mr. Positive that said, in very ornate script, "Go for your dreams, R Sizzle!"

I believe we have seen the last of Ron Cameron. He has very little options left.Even if WPON takes him back(a very big if)Ron's show depends on him selling ads to sponsors. How many sponsors want their brand being represented by a guy who,was fired from his last gig for using racial slurs.Only Ron could get himself fired from brokered radio. In brokered radio ratings are not important. If the check clears the time slot is yours.Pretty hard to get fired but the dumbest talk show host in the history of Detroit radio managed to accomplish this.Don't let the door hit you on the way out. You,will not be missed.

That WADL show came to an abrupt end allegedly because the station owner didn’t honor their payment arrangement. When Denny years later went to work, briefly, at AM 910, & I reminded him of this history, asking why this gig, with the same owner, would be any different, Denny summarily brushed aside any such concerns.

The many reports of his many “deaths” have been greatly exaggerated. I’m expecting him back in the saddle very soon.

On Rons Twitter account, someone just made a post stating maybe next time don’t use the word you used. Wonder if that post will be deleted by his staff

And, thanks to Ron's stranglehold on the local media, no one outside of this Board evens knows what happened.
