101.3 plays too many burnt out 80s songs for my liking.

Re: Music Adjustment at 101.3
Between this station and the River I have heard Eddie Money "Take Me Home Tonight" everyday followed by Manic Monday. Now this is just switching on once in a while. These fuckers are in serious heavy rotation. Either no one cares or they have a serious fetish with Mr. Money.

Last several songs on 101.3:
Bicycle Race - Queen
White Wedding - Billy Idol
Land of Confusion - Genesys
(Everything I Do) I Do It For You - Bryan Adams
Pour Some Sugar On Me - Def Leppard
Hey Mickey - Toni Basil
It's Still Rock and Roll to Me - Billy Joel
September - Earth, Wind & Fire
The Boys Of Summer - Don Henley
I just glanced at WLAV's recently played - even worse. Gee...I wonder why radio is dying....

C’mon - 101.3 is owned by IFart. Probably a 250 song playlist. ‘Nuff said

I'm listening to them again, in addition to 94.5, 106.5 and my spotify, 101.3 sucks ass to me.

I hope you realize that all that is left running radio stations today are the low-dollar, uninnovating folks who are basically looking at the exit door once AI gets a little more advanced.
Re: Music Adjustment at 101.3
Just looking at the River's recently played and they have played several songs that typically don't get classic hits airplay.
Looks like an all 80's weekend. The only two songs that came out before 1980 that I can see is Two Tickets to Paradise by Eddie Money and Born to Run by Bruce Springsteen. Both the Money Man and the Boss put out plenty of songs in the 1980s, including bigger hits than either of those two songs.
One of the songs is When I Hear Music by Debbie Deb, which (a) never charted on the Hot 100, (b) didn't even hit top 40 on the R&B charts, and (c) is around 7 minutes long (it does have a 3:40 edit)
I wish I could attach a screen snip to show that the River actually played that song.

Knowing how TSQ does classic hits (i have a little knowledge on the subject) id guess that was an error. Like a song number was entered into G Selector wrong. Or a song was put in incorrectly. Even though the River is playing some Classic Hits that "dont get played much anymore" Grand Rapids is still A) in the Midwest and B) a rock town first and foremost. I doubt Debbie Deb is on any TSQ playlist, except maybe...maybe in a bigger area or an area with a more pronounced urban influence.

I remember a couple years ago 100.5 played Jessie by joshua kadison quite often from 1993 that only charted like a few weeks on the billboard thencraigrussell100 wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2026 4:41 pm "One of the songs is When I Hear Music by Debbie Deb, which (a) never charted on the Hot 100, (b) didn't even hit top 40 on the R&B charts, and (c) is around 7 minutes long (it does have a 3:40 edit)"

Re: Music Adjustment at 101.3
I will say 101.3 (so far) is easily winning the battle of the classic hits stations in the 12+ ratings.
