Re: Andrew Z
He'll probably get a show on the LPFM with the rooftop antenna over off South Ave.
Just a guess.
Just a guess.

Re: Andrew Z
The LPFM on 106.1 (which does need a tower and 99 more watts) probably doesn't want to lose it's license with any of AndrewZ's stuff, so I'd say he's more likely going to be online with Towpath radio or something like that.

Can confirm, he will not be on Towpath Radio, River Rat Country, or Sweet 419.
Re: Andrew Z
106.1 has several local music programs in the evening on the weekends that are unique, and commercial free.

If they didn't make him pay cash up front, that's BEYOND stupid on their part.Scramble_Ramble wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:44 pm True. But look what's mostly on. And add a loud mouth oinker to the mix. I won't be tuning in. I forgot to use the word "crude."
Can anyone say "has been?" "Prison bitch?"
He will be "renting time." Stupid for WAKT to make any monetary deal with him. Guess they don't read local news- or hadn't.

yep, also there's a vacant storefront on Airport Hwy. across from the Tim Horton's where that hack "comedian" Demitrius Nicodemus, Z's longtime sidekick, tried and failed to sell insurance for State Farm.

How big can Andrew's fan base possibly be?Scramble_Ramble wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 7:50 pmYes. Notice the name of the show AZ is trying to push on his FB? Notice WAKT on Wed nights @7PM?
Also note 106.1 is noncom.

I was in Toledo yesterday, driving on the AW Trail, and had a chance to give WAKT a listen. That's an absolute dumpster fire of a radio station. They need help, in more ways than I have time to list here. I know someone else who has a show there... haven't talked to him in years. I'll have to reach out.

Re: Andrew Z
I can't even get WAKT up in Bedford twp, let alone parts of West and north Toledo. I wish it did come in a tad better, as I liked some of what I heard.

Re: Andrew Z
I can barely get WAKT from my home in NW Ohio, whenever it does come in.
Re: Andrew Z
Have to use 'Alexa' to listen to WAKT. Music shows are truly local and old school freeform.
Andrew Z would not be welcome there, as he cannot pay to get air time, he cannot mention anything that can produce money (not even a car wash) because of the strict rules for LPFM's to keep their license, I doubt he could keep it 'legal' for them- too big a risk.
And yes Col. Flagg- they do need some serious audio processing equipment as levels are all-over the place right now. They really need their tower up so they can go to full power. 97.7 Springfield Schools and 96.5 Spanish have decent enough LPFM signals to tune-in OTA.
