Most Annoying Commercials
Re: Most Annoying Commercials
Mark Hudson produced Ringo Starr & that boy trio Hanson!!! Bill Hudson then married Cindy Williams (later divorced). They were known as Everyday Hudson & did the song "Laugh Funny Funny" on Decca Records in 1970 but did NOT chart. They also did the TV show "Bonkers!" in late 1978. Their final album known as Hudson was called "Damn Those Kids" on Elektra Records in 1980. The 1982 movie "Hysterical" was their last as a trio!!

A brand new add to local spot rotation, to annoy the hell out of you: 877-50-FLOOR
"Call 8-7-7 Fifty FLOOR
and we'll come knockin'
at your door"
This jingle sounds like it could be from the same house of musical art that birthed "My Pillow dot com"
Flooring outfits, all with bad sing-jingles: Empire "Today", ReFloor and now 50-Floor
[/quote]
The Re Floor jingle is basically the Hi Ho Song from Snow White, which saves some money because the song is more than 75 years old and thus in public domain.

Fifty-Floor is a not the same outfit as "ReFloor"(which you brought to our attention in an earlier thread) with its own, differently annoying spot.

Trumpy Bear.
I'm not sure which is worse, the fact that people throughout the ad continually thank Trumpy Bear, or the fact that these are all adults displaying such adulation to a stuffed animal.

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

"Calgon baths....Lose Yourself In Luxury!"
Re: Most Annoying Commercials
Those ads promising improved sexual performance irk me. Yes, I would like to improve my performance, but I don't have anybody to do it with. Find me a wife, and then I will take your stupid pills.
Re: Most Annoying Commercials
I cannot find the commercial for "Tabasco Sauce" (1974 or 1975) that Nick's "TV Land" showed back in 1999 during the Retromercials back then!!!

Re: Most Annoying Commercials
"I LOVE IT!"
The pre and post Christmas saturation buy of the GMC spot with the terminally cute couple with more money than brains. She buys him some trinket "One for you, one for me." He's bought them his-and-hers GMCs- a Pickup and an SUV. She claims "his" pickup shouting twice "I Love It." He now gets "her" red SUV. "I like red," he disappointedly says, his ploy to get himself a pickup apparently foiled.
