A decent signal in the car near Grand Bend Ontario located about 75 miles northeast of Detroit along the edge of Lake Huron. Congrats on the new format; it is nice to hear music on AM again. I hope you are able to sign up lots of sponsors and wish you much success.

In Sarnia 1160 WCXI and 1200 WMUZ are similar in terms of signal strength during the daytime. Although 1200 WMUZ has 50 KW, the 1160 WCXI towers are much further north.

Was out cutting the grass and was tuned to 1160 and had the new October power cut time occur at 7PM on the dot. Went from very easy to recieve to almost 0% instantly.

I have not ventured far from 1160, am hearing very few and far between repeats of songs in my listening, and am impressed by the sheer size of the playlist.

In Shelby Township WCXI 1160 is totally gone at night on the other hand "The Not So Mighty 1090 WCAR" is actually receivable at 500 watts. 1090 does have a lot of interference from other stations.

I find the same, WCAR is recievable and WCXI is essentially gone. According to the Radio-locator maps, WCAR's signal is actually strengthened toward the north and completely nulled out to the east and west of the TX.

1090 has to protect WBAL Baltimore, XEPRS Tijuana, and until recently, KAAY Little Rock. That only leaves a night signal shooting due north.

Listening over the air on the weekend and agian today there are times the audio drops out and it's nothing but dead air.... including right now. At the exact same time 1460 is out. (they both drop out at the same time). 1090 is fine.

Now having issues with WCAR streaming on Tunein. I'm giving up on both stations, time to move on to something more dependable. I don't have time for the guessing game on if the streaming is available or not. I'm finished with the after school project.

I had noticed yesterday a good chunk of the afternoon that WCXI and WPON were both dead air. Must be an STL issue to just that TX site as both stations simultaneously drop out when they do.
