Sling quietly discontinues "day passes"

A place to discuss broadband, streaming video, cable, and satellite services (not programming). Bitch about your crappy cable, satellite or streaming video provider here! This is also the place to talk about channel line-ups, packages, and special offers.

Sling quietly discontinues "day passes"

This sucks for sports fans who don't want the burden of subscribing monthly

Reportedly, the assholes at Disney (ESPN) were raising a stink to the major sports leagues about this.

Disney owns Fubo, Hulu, and of course offers streaming of all live ESPN and ABC sports programming via ESPN Unlimited. They hated the fact sports fans had a per diem option via Sling.
