Few pass attempts by Underwood in the second half. Multiple 3rd & long situations were run plays.

Whittingham presumably had more confidence in his defense maintaining the close lead than he had in the passing game. It's not just an Underwood issue; the O-line needs to protect him better.

Michigan essentially loses to Western Michigan and plays the best defensive game since the Ohio State game a few years ago. That's bipolar AF.

They didn't essentially lose. They made a play at the end of regulation. They thought Bryce had major strides in camp and weren't able to make in-game adjustments.

UTEP is a bottom ten program so you cant really judge where Michigan is going forward until after Iowa and Minneosta. Fleck is losing badly at home today to Miss State.

Im surprised the Chippewas didnt make ESPNs bottom ten yet. It was a blessing to beat Colgate 13-10 at home. No offense, and had to rely on late turnovers. Spread was CMU by 21.5.

GO GREEN!

Happy with the Spartans performance again. Edwards is the real deal at RB, Milivojevic another steady game. I like the way he steps up in the pocket. Defense was pretty good, especially the line. No dumb mistakes or stupid penalties which is rare to see in EL. Fitz must emphasize that, its good to see disciplined football for a change. That 2nd half was probably our best 30 minutes of football in 4 years.

But it was EMU. ND will wipe us out. Still hoping this is a 6 win bowl squad. Happy with the G&W.

Michigan defense was great. That front line is so good, the other positions can take chances. I thought Underwood played fine today, especially under some of the circumstances. Outplayed Mateer for sure. He carries the ball too loose though and I'm surprised Oky didnt try to punch it out more, usually a Venebles thing. Smarter teams will force him to throw. Right now I'd still say Indy and the Fuckeyes are the class of the conference.....wtf happened to Oregon....and SC, Michigan and PSU in the next tier. Minnesota looked awful, Washington very bad, Illinois ugly.

GO GREEN!

Texas got their pencils out to erase a 20 point deficit on Matt Patricias defense.

Was glad that I was wrong about the Sooners taking Michigan to the woodshed today and the defense came up strong getting that INT to setup the winning touchdown for Michigan. A great win by MSU it was EMU I knew they take care of business today.
