This is beyond gross.

Red Berenson should be kicked out of the Hall of Fame immediately as a starting point. He fooled everyone thinking he did things the right way.

UofM you say? This is generational abuse with both Football and Hockey programs. Anyone looking into the Basketball and Baseball programs?

This is Michigan. They'll install a statue of him right next to the statue of another high profile rape enabler that they continue to worship.

So it's the Red Berenson rink at Yost Fieldhouse. An ice surface named after a person who enabled sexually abusive hazing, in an arena named for a known racist.

There are oddly specific details for this not to be true. At least Berenson is still around to defend himself, if there is anything to defend...

It's creepy that upper classmen were supposedly shaving freshman players' junk.

Why would the upper classmen *want* to get that close to their teammates' junk?

Hazing in that era was common in campus organizations throughout the country and in athletics especially. I'm skeptical that the hazing victims in this particular instance are entitled to monetary damages from the university.
