Is it my imagination or has Dingler been something appreciably less than his once superb self ever since his mentor Jake Rogers left on his three team sojourn? :rolleyes

Definitely not your imagination. As evidenced by that disaster of a throw in the 5th inning, his focus seems to have fallen into the Detroit River since Rogers exited.

edit: Haven't watched much since they went back in the tank, but tuned in tonight to hopefully see the kids play. Apparently the bottom is still a long way off. To quote Kramer, "Look away, I'm hideous!"

It was 9-1 when I shut it off. Yikes! Hope McKinstry loves pitching.

This team has given up. It won’t happen, but Hinch needs to go.

Tigers have a damn good chance of finishing last in the division. Congrats to them!

This season has been an unmitigated disaster.
Buc-ee's sucks! Stay the hell away from my state.

Can we start a GoFundMe to pay the Tigers the balance of Jansen's contract so they can release him guilt-free?

Kind of a surreal evening.

The dramatic light show outside, followed by loud thunder and heavy rain.

Meanwhile, the Tigers gave us a roller coaster ride, with a thunderous explosion of runs in the 12th inning.

I turned the channel with Tigers up 5-2 in the eighth, thinking after the last couple nights there was no way they can blow this lead. Well, guess what? :rolleyes I'm glad I didn't stay up to watch.

Saw the Mud Hens last night. The entire lineup is fringe guys and career minor leaguers. The closest to a prospect was Jace Jung, playing second. Max Anderson did not play.

Jackson Wolf (career minor leaguer save one start with the Padres) was pitching a no hitter after six despite not looking so hot (fantastic fielding) but was pulled. Ty Madden pitched the 8th and part of the 9th and was throwing high 90s, but also hittable- a home run to dead center off a non prospect, and two hard hit deep flies.

Fantastic defense by CF Siani. A speedy guy who cannot hit major league pitching, or Triple-A pitching for that matter. Outman plated right, and isn’t hitting either.

Good thing I had to work today, otherwise I considered driving to Cleveland to watch the doubleheader disaster.

Why would Montero throw a curve when it clearly wasn’t there?
