The Navigator report, released on Aug. 25, found 31% of Gen Z voters who supported Trump in the 2024 election regret voting for the president. This group was closely followed by millennials at 28%. Twenty percent of Gen X voters and 10% of baby boomers also regretted casting their vote for Trump nearly two years ago.

Eroding support among Gen Z voters who backed him is another grim sign for Trump ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Gen Z helped deliver Trump to the White House in the 2024 election, winning 42% of voters born in the 1990s and 2000s, according to Pew Research Center.
