My God - when I read that obituary, I had wondered if it was ZZAND. I didn’t want to ask as it seemed macabre.

Like someone mentioned above, he had really mellowed in recent years. I remember him going at it with Listen Buddy, Revox and the guy that did production for WJR (can’t remember his name at the moment).

Oh, yeah. I remember him being a total prick, around the time Obama was elected. All of a sudden one day, he said he had to take off. Then we found his daughter got sick and he did a 180. Goes to show it is possible.

To be fair, he had a lot to Rage about. His brother suffered a painful death if I remember correctly.

I don't remember any personal struggles that Rage expressed. He and I were on opposite sides of the political spectrum, but I got along with him well.

Cancer is a fucking nightmare. This is awful news to hear this morning.

He was one of the best posters I've read on this site. My condolences to his family. If I'm able to, I'll donate to that GoFundMe.
