Hinch rarely pinch hits for Torkelson. Perhaps he’s finally realizing he’s not that good?

This loss is mostly on Hinch and his terrible pitching decisions. If you started Sears and he gave up four runs in four innings, you would have more time to take the lead and keep it with your better relievers. Lynch is a converted reliever and most of KC’s bullpen is godawful so you should have won this game.

Valencia not being able to throw anyone out, especially Salvador Perez(!) proves to me he’s not a good defensive catcher, but I knew that watching him in Toledo.

Corey Julks hasn’t played in over a week prior to today and is mediocre at best defensively but they still think he’s better than Outman.
