It was rumored that Kim Adams was responsible for getting rid of Brandon Roux . Not sure, but I really liked the guy. Roux was probably on the short list anyway because of his antics. But he made me laugh , I looked forward to him broadcasting. Roux worked through the mess during the pandemic from his home. One time, he had a diabetic episode it was reported, during a broadcast. Bryan with the bad wig, is ok for 2 minutes , then maybe the last minute of a broadcast. But he gets too excited and goes overboard on the forecasting . He needs to tone it down.

I am very sympathetic to Brandon's health challenges, but he was obnoxious on the air during the morning show. I was glad when he was replaced.

I will say I had no problem whatsoever with Ben's on-air style. His forecast accuracy seemed a bit better than the Dave Rexroths of the world, too.

I met him once… seemed nice enough. Wasn’t it refusing to do masking during COVID at the station or something that did him in?

That sounds familiar regarding Ben Bailey...

As for Kim Adams, I have been hearing her on air at WMUZ 103.5 FM throughout the daytime hours doing weather. Previously, they were referring to her on air as "Local 4 Chief Meteorologist Kim Adams" but I did notice yesterday they are now leaving out the 'Local 4 Chief...' reference out and just calling her a meteorologist. I have noticed her over there doing weather snippets since at least January of this year. I don't know if she just does a voice recording early in the day and the hosts simply replay it throughout the day or if she actually sits at the studio (or perhaps a home studio) all day or not, she is only aired when they have live in-house hosts and at most 1-2x an hour (mainly heard M-F during Tom Jordan's morning show and Bob Dutko's midday show).

I did not find any info on Kim Adams on the WMUZ website, and have not listened to any of the other Crawford Detroit area stations long enough to see if she does weather on any of the other sister stations.

I think people get to hung up on former on air talent. Its not like your personal friends with them. Its the same deal about complaining about on air talent. Stop being a bunch of Karen's, and turn it off.

I'm surprised Chris Stevenson is gone from WMUZ. I remember when Chris was at WKSG 102.7 when it was Oldies way back when. Chris was going by the name of Chris Morgan.
