Something that seems to have become almost a cliche in TV ads, and I don't get it.
It's an image that seems intended to evoke a sense of opulence or luxury. People are relexing aboard a cruise ship or in a pool or on a tropical beach. They're laying back with cucumber slices over their eyes. What's up with that?

I think it's supposed to take care of under-eye wrinkles. Ice cubes might work, too, but wouldn't last long on a sunny tropical beach.
