Lansing State Journal on MSU President's Statement

I was just reading this article on line and I certainly hope the LSJ has a typo in the story, because if this is really what the University put put, someone needs to call an English Professor and learn to proof read; or speak with a PR Professor about tone death statements before they are sent out.

The article said: "and continuing our commitment to improving relationship violence and sexual misconduct through our ongoing institutional assessment project."

Seriously, the University under his leadership has been IMPROVING relationship violence and sexual misconduct? Usually they would want to improve response to or take steps to lower the numbers, not promote it.

As an alum of the MSU school of journalism, they are not as rigorous about this sort of thing as they used to be.
