What gets me is how relatively eloquent he sounds… and he’s absolutely dead on in what he says there.
GWB made some bad policy decisions and some bad gaffes during his Presidency, but I am convinced he is a genuinely decent man and have long felt that way.

While he had some truly evil staffers in his administration, I don’t believe he was evil either. Definitely picked the wrong VP. But his selection of Condi Rice and Collin Powell certainly looks decent in history. His work fighting AIDS in Africa is often ignored.
Yes, Abu Ghraib, the Patriot Act, and Iraq war was horrendous, but he really has a good heart. That’s why I campaigned for him in 2004.
