I think Baez's hot streak is over. He's back to the loser we know.
Just be glad he can play centerfield.
We need to be able to have a DH for any position!

Which was a Tigers 6-0 win! Homers by Torres, Malloy, and Dingler. Báez made a running over-the-shoulder catch in deep center; he made it look easy.

Another series win for the Bengals! An Orioles team with awful pitching coming in next.

Was there in person today watching it. Beautiful day to catch a ball game. Enough school kids there, but that was a good thing.
The boy wonder Reese Olsen, up until the eighth inning, only gave up one hit. He’s looking more and more like a solid number two starter anywhere else.

Vest and Kahnle have sub 1 ERAs. Yes, it's early but wow.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

The Tigers' pitching now has a 2.94 ERA, tops in the league. Olson has the highest ERA of the regular starters at 3.29, and he's 3-1.

Imagine their ERA if Maeda is removed.

Remove Maeda, Montero and Brieske, and they're lights-out as a group. Maeda's only gotten mop-up duty, Montero got the two spot starts, and I'm even willing to cut Brieske some slack considering he was nursing an ankle injury for two weeks that he wasn't up front about.

Tork does it again! He comes through with a two-out two run double in the nightcap of their Saturday twin-bill against the Orioles.
The Tigers took the opener 4-3. Tork's seventh inning solo blast to the right field seats was the deciding run.
(Edit)
Tigers take the nighcap 6-2 for the sweep of the double-header!

The White Sox have been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

I could not be more impressed by how well the Tigers have played at home to start the season.
