Well that wasn't horrible... But I wish those interviewed would've had the years they were at the station instead of "Legendary Broadcaster"

I think I was 9 or 10 years old when the late Chuck Waters & "Hoss 'N Stuff" shown the final episode either in 1974 or 1975 Saturday morning around 7:00 or 7:30. Then it was the NBC cartoons & children's shows. I wonder if there is a private room in the WNEM vault so I can see those reruns of that show on film & videotape & go in??? I did saw the part when Chuck & Hoss were driving in a car or van which that part was in color. P.S. "73 & good evening"!!

It was common practice back then to WIPE and REUSE video tapes for local shows all the time. So, it's very likely none of those survive anymore.

Like everything these days at WNEM, it was thrown together, poorly presented and generally pretty terrible.

Back on July 4, 2000, anchor Keith Landry, metrologist Darrin Bradley & sportscaster Art Neil were doing their thing. At the end of the broadcast, Keith said "That will do it for TV 5 News At Eleven & we love you......I made a mistake BUT will leave you with more of the fireworks display in Bay City tonight will see you then".

Me too! I agree wholeheartedly. Not to mention, Bobby was a "pioneer" of sorts.
