Actually he is doing a couple line items he ran on that happened to be part of the 1000 (?) Pages of Project 2025. Project 2025 was a conservative ideas document.
As a republican president he can't help but do some of the stuff in there. Otherwise he wouldn't be a republican.
At the moment all you have in that regard is a republican doing republican things.

Right now with respect to Project 2025 all you have is he isn't a Democrat.

To be clear anybody can get locked up by committing the right crimes.

I think it's important to recognize that many of these fast-moving events in the government have the power to directly (and negatively) impact the well-being of many people, more than others. This isn't just an attack on ideology, where everyone goes back to their normal lives once they're done being alarmed. Just because someone won't be impacted by all of this chaos (or may even welcome it), doesn't mean this won't directly harm others. It will, and we should be supportive and protective of these vulnerable people. While everyone has the right to emotionally react how they may, I think it's wrong to dismiss somebody when their alarm bells are going off, especially since their lives have been full of this kind of adversity and they know the warning signs while the rest of us are blissfully ignorant.

The word trans has been eliminated from federal websites. Read the room, do the math. When the queer community is mentioned, it is LGB not LGBT.

Edited to add: they also ordered the removal of transgender research to be removed from the database of all medical journals.

Maybe we know a little bit more about what’s going on due to us having more skin(literally) in the game.
