If I were the Pistons, I'd want absolutely NOTHING to do with Zach LaVine and his absurdly expensive $43 million contract.
The Pistons need a supporting backcourt player to come off the bench, not an overpaid stat padder who plays inadequate defense and who is owed $43 million this season, $46 million next season, and has a player option (that he might very well exercise) for nearly $49 million in the 2026-27 season.
Also, Lonzo Ball is complete garbage. The fact his name was even suggested is comical. Did Coty not learn from the attempted reclamation project disasters during the Troy Weaver era?
