In the game Saturday, what was the deal with Jameson Williams sexually abusing (and the viewers common sense and decency) the AstroTurf after the reverse somersault into the end zone? Is he eager to be fined again $19k similar to the crotch grab after the touchdown in November?

I think there is an actual rule for how many times you can do that before you draw a flag… he did it the exact number allowed…

I have a feeling next season is gonna suck for the Lions.

Why, you ask? Because they're the Lions. They are eternally screwed.

Apple #2 from the Dan Campbell coaching tree. :hat

It'll be interesting to see if this ex-defensive coordinator can accomplish what another (Robert Saleh) couldn't. There's no guarantee Aaron Rodgers will return, but there's plenty of grade A young defensive talent on the Jets.

Ironically, I wonder if Saleh will be considered for the DC opening in Detroit?

It's rumored Saleh is a finalist for the Jacksonville Jags head coaching job, especially with the firing of GM Trent Baalke under whom apparently no coaching candidate wanted to work.

I wish the Free Press would stop with the daily barrage of Lions articles & opinion columns.

Most of us want to put this dreadful finish to the season behind us.

Wrong!
Most of us want to look ahead to next season with a fully healthy team and new offensive and defensive coordinators. And then there's the draft, which unlike past eras is NOT this team's "Super Bowl".

Yeah but it would be nice to have a break. We aren’t gonna even see if it can be improved for 9 months.

It is tough to get excited about this Sunday, usually one of my favorite days of the year from a football viewpoint.

Honestly, I cannot watch a Philly-KC SB. One underdog must win.

Among the recent Freep Lion stories is this gem:

Hardly surprising given Aaron Glenn's imprimatur. I kind of like the idea of keeping it "in the house".
