My friend was released early on Monday November 11th after a battery of tests which confirmed the concussion. She ended up with a heavily bruised hip and some minor memory issues. I think the emotional toll is what I worry about most as she refuses to go to Thanksgiving and is afraid to leave the house. Thankfully, she works from home so she is working again as of last week after using some personal time.

Definitely thankful. But it is still scary. Definitely need pepper spray when I decide to medically start transitioning. I am tempted to wait and see how crazy things may get first.

Have you considered protecting yourself to the full extent of the law? Is that something you'd be comfortable with?

The F.B.I. said in a statement it was aware of the bomb threats and so-called swatting calls, which entail contacting law enforcement to falsely claim a dangerous person is at a particular address. Such calls are designed to create a frantic armed police response to frighten, harass and endanger someone at their home.
