There are many abuse victims who end up homeless. Catholic parents often throw their kids out after an accusation of csc against a priest. After you spend time with speaking with them about how the church aggressively discredits and accuser, you realize how horrible that particular organization is.

I even had to block a priest from persistently trying to enter the shelter where some of his accusers were staying. Once the county prosecutor got involved, the priest disappeared from town.

It's a pretty worthy hill to die on.

Children continue to be sexually abused by teachers and classmates on a daily basis in public schools across America. But not a word about that.

While I believe abuse spans across all communities, the horrible aspect of the Catholic Church is how they used intimidation to block prosecutors, law enforcement and anyone from pursuing these horrific crimes. If it wasn't for The Boston Globe, it would be continuing way today. The fact that it's an institution charged with spreading the word makes this extraordinarily despicable.

Some Christian Nation types was to weaken the CSC laws.
