Our guys were dropping like flies out there. :rolleyes Once again, it was as if they had their turkey BEFORE the game.

And those bullshit penalties!
They didn’t exactly have an easy game against Indianapolis despite that score and they are depleted. What in the world do you expect?

They totally lost track of time. There would be no logical reason to try a Hail Mary to win the game in that situation taking it down to the end of the game with a timeout. To even suggest that is grounds to have you committed. You might have a case if they were doing it with say 15 seconds, it doesn’t work and then you go for a field goal to tie it. But taking it to three seconds and then throwing it up for grabs? That’s not a strategy.
I heard Eberflub in post game say, as best as I could interpret, the plan was to run the same play as the immediate previous play which was penalized and then call time-out for the FG. If so, the execution was phenomenally piss poor. Besides, soooo much time ran off!
That would make sense but letting it run that far is just nuts… that plan doesn’t seem very solid to me.

Lions should have won by 3 TDs.

Lions should have lost.

Not getting points with that fumble before halftime the Lions score the touchdown the game would've been over that is what sparked the Bears rally. I really thought that there was no PI on 4TH & 14 that should've ended the game the Bears find ways to lose kinda when the Lions weren't good they found ways to lose, I don't think they ever let the final seconds tick off like the Bears poor clock management which is on the coaches. Matt Ebersuck was going to get fired after the season no matter what. A win is a win, and I'll take it in the NFL there is no style points just win 11-1 feels so good.

I'm sure many of you saw the Packers completely dominate the 'Phins in the frozen tundra of Lambeau. Considering the Lions defense is so depleted, next Thursday's game at Ford Field may actually be a pick 'em game, if not making the Pack a slight favorite. Ya gotta believe the Pack will be up for a game like no other this season.

I agree.

I hope Decker is back. Goff was clearly encountering more pressure than normal.

The numerous injuries on the defensive side of the ball clearly had a negative impact in the second half. Losing Rodriguez and Paschal was very bad and made a significant difference. Rodriguez tore his ACL and is out now for the entire remainder of the season.

Breaking news: Eberflus reportedly just got fired. First time in Bears franchise history a head coach was fired mid season.

Can you imagine any other industry where you have a bad day and the next day you're gone.

"Joe, you did a piss poor job cutting the Smith's lawn yesterday. It's time to part ways..."

I can't believe that is motivating for the team.

It was more than just a bad day. It was his sixth straight loss, and this was his third season as head coach. There were people calling for his firing at the end of last season.

The Raiders completely shit the bed against KC. Three missed FGs on the day. They lost 19 to 17. Raiders were already in FG range with :15 to play. On 3rd down, the dumbass center for the Raiders snapped the ball prematurely, the QB was looking to the side when it happened (it bounced off his body), and KC recovered the fumble to end the game.

Edit - my bad; this miscue belongs to the right guard, not the center. The right guard tapped the center to signal to him to snap the ball.

Bears: Find a way to botch the ending of what turned out to be a winnable game against the 10-1, now 11-1, Lions, in a way that will live in infamy.

Raiders, facing the 10-1 Chiefs: Hold our beers :rollin

Watching the first half of Cardinals at Vikings, I can't get over how both teams are so ready to settle for FGs after my seeing Dan Campbell's Lions for a few years now. It's 9-6 Cardinals.

(Edit)
Now 12-6 Cardinals early in the third quarter, six FGs total! Cardinals missed one earlier, so seven attempts total.
