Anyone having difficulty with log-in passwords?

Got a question? Can't figure out how to get that neat picture under your user name? Need any other tech tips? Post it here! Also, this is where I make important site related announcements.

Glad to hear it. I logged into the site late afternoon and early evening yesterday and did not experience any issue. I cannot speak to late evening, though.

My PW got hosed, finally was able to reset when I used the correct email address.

That was odd, couldn't log in with my password. Kept saying "password incorrect".. Had to do an account recovery. Odd.

As tiger alluded, the the biggest difficulty to using pw reset may be remembering what email address you used to register, especially for those who registered 10 or more years ago. The board doesn't let you know if you enter the wrong one, likely by design. Speaking for a friend.

Your registered email address can be located by visiting your user control panel, and then clicking the profile tab. Might be a good idea to make note of it in case you face log-in issues in the future.

Also, any change in email address does require account reactivation by me.

The good news is another PHP software update occurred November 20, and this time, there appears to have been no hiccups.

phpBB just released version 3.3.14 of its message forum software this past week. There's not a chance in hell of me updating to that version.
