Here in Hemlock area, 98.5 UPS booms big time..Get 102.1 from the thumb....
I can get 99.3/AM1250 WJMK translator real good too....92.3/1400WSAM one a little tougher..easier on truck radio....
also 104.7 Tawas/Oscoda sometimes/103.7 the thumb area....100.7 country Lansing good here..103.1 gladwin.103.9 johnny burke flint..
104.1 the bay..104.3 mt pleasant not so much/detroit womc many tines overides it...tiger baseball staitic free on qbx 104.9 alma st louis..

105.9 Midland religious blocks out classic country 105.9 out of Alma /St Louis. The Alma/St Louis 1520AM very very directional north/south and really a no go here....Great when I get between Merrill and Breckenridge....Good signal long 127 hiway and in Mt Pleasant at least during day...

Seems that when the engineers tweaked 1490 WMPX, which I now get much better than before, they must have done the same to 107-7...not the greatest, but I can least find it on dial where I could not before....Sometimes Alpena overrides

am 660 out of thmb a good catch...600 the old wtac not as strong ad their top 40 hey day, wsgw 790 seems to be stronger especially at night than I remember as a kid...910/950 detroit good...wjr ok but really bad at night...am830 daytime sheped strong...1080 mexican good but off the air many times...1160 fenton so-so...1180 lansing area....1200 yes...1240 tough cause of 1250 but 1320 lansing yess.1330 trx disappointing..1400 good day signal/usually goes bye bye at night/1440 bay city towers by saginaw valley u/1420/1570 flint...1050/real good ann arbor..1600 at times..1660 kalamzoo..1680 grand rapids...

WJR has a weak signal there because its 195 degree tower puts a null near that distance at Night. WTRX frequently seems to be on STA.

30 years ago or so, WJR asked listeners about 100 miles away to comment on their signal and listenership. Perhaps they were contemplating going to a 180 degree tower, which has no vertical null.

1250 WJMK uses the old 3 tall towers from the old WKNX 1210 array. They added a short fourth tower to increase power to 5000 watts Day, 1100 watts Night. Between the tall towers and the directional antenna, it sends a very strong signal toward the North, though not as strong as 10000 watt WKNX did.
