Two Detroit CW Networks.

Unread post by MrJeffrey2020 »

Maybe I am confused and out of the loop but why are there two CW networks in Detroit? Is one of them planning on stopping affiliation? They gave it to 20 and took it away or gave it back? Or did it get taken away from 50 (again).

Scripps didn't renew with The CW in the spring why on Sep 1 WKBD became The CW once again after a year of being an indie.

The CW is what UPN evolved into. The old UPN was good at first, and then went downhill during the final years. The CW wasn't much better. After being on 50 for a long time, the CW briefly went to WADL 38. Channel 20 carried their programming after that. Now channel 20 is the new indie, and WADL is up for sale.
