WIDL / WKYO searching for talent

Unread post by bobhuge »

The stations are looking for someone who can handle the whole load for the group.

It's not difficult, but it can be time consuming. I gotta admit, you can be creative with things, if you're ready and able.

Knowledge of entire station ops is a plus. Tech knowledge is helpful, as well.

With the right candidate, anything is possible.

You should apply. BTW, thanks for listening!

It is automated. However, there are still things that need to be administrated....games, other programming, ASCAP, BMI, FCC...that kind of fun stuff.

Been there did that right on the 4 corners of main street in the early 70s. Overall, it is a great station with great music and a good staff. But if you are going to give your political views you should have an open phone line for us advertiser and the public to call in and give our views.

We've tried the open line thing, listeners are not as interactive as they used to be. We've even shut down our tradio line on the AM side. Radio is a different beast than it was in the early 70s.

Position has been filled.

I'd delete the post, but I don't see that as a possibility
