Notice that 1080 WOAP/Mexican format off air...leased out?Sima/Birach??? weather related??? lightning or transmitter issues
also am1250 WJMK Bridgeport is off the air/99.3 translator is on...

Told the Cano owned 1080 and 103.1 translator were both off the air

Not owned by Sima anymore, but he was carrying some heavy paper on this one. Probably still is.

Ave Maria is buying a Lansing area AM. Don't know which station yet but they're saying it will cover the metro. Highly doubt it would be WOAP. They don't have the signal.
Shortwave is the ORIGINAL satellite radio.

For what it's worth, when I noted the 103.1 translator back on, it seemed to be operating at reduced power, as they usually have a solid signal at my location but it was much weaker than usual. I wonder if they suffered a lightning strike or something with all the storms that have rolled through over the past two weeks.
Is 1080 still off? (Currently out of listening range.)
