Comparing AAA pitching to the Majors is fools' gold. The gap has never been wider for the velocity and movement from pitchers. H U G E talent gap. While the latter might not sound THAT bad, if you think this team is finishing ahead of Boston, Toronto, TB, Houston and Texas, which they would have to do just to be the first runner-up in the wild card race right now, I have some oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you.

I wish they would get of the three wild card setup, but they never will, because of the money.

The one wild card setup was much better, because it ensured that the second best team in the league was in the playoffs, and everybody started at the same time.

With that setup, right now we would have a great playoff lineup, with New York, Baltimore, Cleveland, and Seattle in the American League, and Philadelphia, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles in the National League.
