I do not like Trump at all (as most of you know), but this criminal case is hogwash.

He reported the expense. The case centers around the ledger account / descriptor used to report the $130,000 spent to quash the Stormy Daniels affair story. The prosecution's assertion that the reporting technique somehow defrauded users of financial statements is absurd. I say this as someone who has spent 23 years reviewing and analyzing corporate and personal financial reports as part of day-to-day job duties.

Trump should be found not guilty. If and when that happens, he should bring a civil suit for malicious prosecution.

If it happened he probably would try but it would likely get tossed. There has to be a rather high standard to win a case like that I would imagine. But I highly doubt he’s going to skate on all 34. I've seen polls saying that if the cult leader is convicted, a sizeable number of undecided will not vote for him. God knows the Democrats need something to turn this impending disaster around.
