KFOR (Oklahoma City) tornado coverage

I saw that the NWS had issued a level-5 "high" severe weather outlook for central Oklahoma. Searched youtube for live coverage and came across KFOR 4. I've watched it off and on for hours now and I gotta say - THIS is how you cover a severe weather outbreak. They have people all over the place, in a chopper, in an interceptor, and driving, all following the storms and providing live feeds, and the meteorologist (Mike Morgan) seamless goes back and forth between the radar maps and the various people on the field. Way above and beyond any coverage I've ever seen here in the state of Michigan.

Tornados are a primary industry in Oklahoma. The severe storm center is located there, OU has the best weather program in the country and there are hundreds of storm chasers and storm tourism organizations there. It's unlikely any market in the US has as much severe weather.

He and especially his crew usually do a very good job, but suggesting people should leave their homes - if they lacked basements or storm shelters - as the tornado entered town was terrible, terrible advice.

I prefer KWTV News 9's coverage myself, although David Payne is no Gary England.

James Spann is The GOAT. I like Matt Laubhan as well of WTVA Tupelo MS. Tornadoes are KFOR's and other stations bread and butter, especially that part of Oklahoma.
