The issue now is whether both of them lied under oath. They both claim there was no relationship prior to Wade being hired. But 2,000 phone calls and 12,000 text messages over an 11-month period between the two in 2021?
That amounts to an average of 6 phone calls and 36 text messages per day, every day, for 11 months. Is there anybody you talk to that often that is anybody other than your significant other?
The prosecution's response to this is quite hilarious:
https://www.cnn.com/2024/02/23/politics ... index.htmlThe records do nothing more than demonstrate that Special Prosecutor Wade’s telephone was located somewhere within a densely populated multiple-mile radius where various residences, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and other businesses are located. The records do not prove, in any way, the content of the communications between Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis; they do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade was ever at any particular location or address; they do not prove that Special Prosecutor Wade and District Attorney Willis were ever in the same place during any of the times listed.
The records may not prove that they were ever in the same place at the same time, but again, 2000 calls and 12,000 text messages in less than a year? As Biden would say, "come on, man!" Assuming the numbers are accurate and it can be proven that that many calls and messages took place, there is one and only one logical explanation - they were dating.
