I read somewhere (I can't remember where, it might have been Yahoo news) that the Scripps stations that Allen wants to buy are in small markets, it goes in no further detail than that.

Is there a start date for these? 12.3 and 12.7 aren't showing anything.

Why does it take so long for a new channel to actually show programming? Example: the “new” 12.3 channel.

I was thinking along the line that it had to transmit for so many hour/days before actual programing. Or something like that.

Both my tvs' channel guides show The Grio's channel line-up for 12.3, with the same "Coming Soon" on-screen.

It’s almost a joke on how long this is taking. The only thing is…I’m sure I’ll be disappointed with the programming once it is up and running.
