But their role as Ron's lightning rod for his frustrations with the Detroit Tigers was quickly filled by President of Baseball Operations Scott Harris.
- The Ron Cameron thread of the Michigan Radio and TV Buzzboard celebrated its 10th birthday, with its most active year ever, increasing its page count from 799 to almost 1700 at year's end. It blasted through milestones that will probably never be reached again in Buzzboard history, including 1 million views; 25,000 replies; and 1500 pages. It even maintained its pace as one of the most active threads on the Buzzboard during two extended radio absences by Ron.
