What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
Does Fusion have another LMA lined up? or will the translator be put up for sale? My gut tells me Jesus freak programing is next.
Re: What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
The signal wasn’t bad for a translator in a medium sized market. You would think putting WCWA on FM could be an option. Other than that, either Fusion 419 (unlikely, I admit) to gain coverage, a Spanish broadcaster relaying and renting an HD2, or religious feeding a satellite network.
Re: What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
Spanish language I think is possible or some national feed from a religious network, say 3ABN. Long shot but maybe modern rock? we shall see.
Re: What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
EMF’s Air 1 is a real possibility. The only problem is, the Air 1 feed would have to be on an HD2 in the Toledo area so it could feed the translator,
Re: What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
Maybe they could create a WNKL HD-2? or just use feed from AIR 1's flagship station. If this scenario would happen.

I just heard that the new format for 103.3 will be Polish Music. The station will be called "Polski Musicradio 103". Polka Joe and Waltzing Wanda will handle the Morning Show with your song requests. Midday Music with Zelda and Afternoon Drive with Fat Stan. On the weekend you can enjoy The Polish Top 40 with Casey Cozinski Saturdays at Noon.

Dude. I would definitely check out a Polka station.

It's probably going to be a national religious feed, but I wish it would be true oldies or a large library classic hits station.
Re: What's Next For 103.3 W77BI?
Alt rock would be nice, but not crappy ass zone again.
I see Party 103.3's website and FB page is gone.

All translators should be turned off for good, along with HD radio transmission. This is why radio interference has doubled in the last 20 years on FM. Translator and HD Radio truly has not helped radio revenue whatsoever and never will.

because every rock station in Toledo besides WIOT and WXKR has fallen on its face because the new music in that format has been terrible for 25 years.
"oh those stations play too much Van Halen and Motley Crue" yes, because those are better artists than Greta Van Fleet and Ashes of My Sophomore Homecoming or whoever.

The new generation of rock sucks. Therefore, if it isn’t the good Classic Rock like Halen, GNR and others from the 90’s back to the 70’s, it cannot survive because the audience doesn’t care for it, and we’re talking the younger audience.
