She delivers the news better than most of the clowns in here deliver their participation in the discussion du jour.
Listening to her is refreshing compared to reading the childish arguments in here.

This morning she was commenting on a news story about a new Sheetz opening downriver. She said......".I've heard of them before, but I've never heard of them in person."
Huh?
Huh?
Re: Heather's delivery of the news on 97.1
For years I thought Sheetz was some kind of cheese, like Velveeta. Probably from some billboard add with food on it. I had never been to one of their stations, but I'd see the tanker trucks all the time. Finally one day I stopped at an exit and there was a H*** Sheetz station with probably 30 pumps. DOH!!Dan in Northville wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 10:35 amThis morning she was commenting on a news story about a new Sheetz opening downriver. During her 9:25 am "newscast" with Stoney and Jansen today, Heather commented a recent French study that discussed the artificial sweetener aspartame being classified as a possible cancer-causing agent. Heather said that the study was leading the WHO to declare aspartame "a possible carcinoginian." Sorry, Heather, but it's "carcinogen."
Maybe tobacco grown in Virginia could be called a carcinoginian, but I digress.

It was probably an AP story. That's just the kind of drivel you would find there, and she probably didn't proofread it.MichMash wrote: ↑Fri Jun 30, 2023 12:20 pmDuring her 9:25 am "newscast" with Stoney and Jansen today, Heather commented a recent French study that discussed the artificial sweetener aspartame being classified as a possible cancer-causing agent. I’m just glad the Tigers decided to get rid of their in game hosts at the stadium as I no longer see blonde bimbo Heather anyone. All style and no substance

I just thought of someone worse for 97.1 than Heather... Lisa Jesswein.
