I was wrong the streaming sounds good nice stereo quality.

No signal in central Windsor only the spanish repeater.

Inside scoop..... The station is on the air. The web stream is the in studio feed. What is airing currently over the air is elevator music with a recorded announcement " this is a test broadcast of CKBG FM 107.9 Amherstburg, Ontario Canada. If you are experiencing any interference...... " this will air for 3 weeks. The web stream is people training with the music software (Play Out One Pro). Not all songs have been loaded yet.

Im going to have to do the same, to see where the 50 watt signal stsrts to come in beit near Lasalle or River Canard.

Anyone unfamliliar with the Yacht Rock format check out SXM ch14.....it would be perfect for the feel of the town which is laid back and a retirement haven.

A little Doobies and Chuck Mangione cant hurt.

Signal comes in to a degree as far west as West and Telegraph. It's the dominant station from Woodhaven eastward but still suffers from some interference from the 1310 translator. This interference is even heard on Grosse Ile, where the Amherstburg signal would naturally be strongest.

Marty Adler worked at CkLW/CBET ch9 as a reporter and had his own harness racing show from Windsor Raceway when it was open back in the 70s/80s.
