If Ron can’t re gig soon, he may not be able to afford food and lodging. I can picture a future of couch surfing in Fraser, Windsor and other outposts.

Food could be an issue, but we've speculated in the past that Ron works the front desk at his various motels in exchange for free lodging.

I guess he could end up bussing tables at Ram’s Horn.

Reading the memoirs of onetime caller Richard Nixon & plotting his next move while holed up in his elegantly-appointed apartment at the Waldorf Astoria, Ron has been bouyed by congratulatory telegrams from admirers & well-wishers spanning the globe. A list that includes Tyrese Haliburton, Al Avila, Chris Ilitch, Billy & Edsel Ford, Rich Kincaide, Terry ("two-strokes") Foster, Denny ("two-strikes") McLain, Phil Regan, Dick Tracewski, Jim Kaat, Bob Delaney, Mark Wilson, Ray Scott, George Blaha, George Sipple, Jake Wood, Ted Kulfan, Paul Woods, Ike Blessitt, beloved callers Cowboy from Windsor & Kurt from Fraser, & the Estate of Bea Arthur.

As the news reaches more people, the telegrams keep flooding in. The most recent arrivals include those from Jake Rogers, Lance Parrish, the Basin League & an organization identified as, "Friends of the Detroit Catholic Baseball League."

Ron was stunned to get a phone call from Jack Morris, who Ron had desperately tried to keep out of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

"Ron, I know how it feels," said Jack. "When I innocently imitated Elmer Fudd, and then got crucified for making an alleged Asian slur, I thought my career—and maybe life—was over. Like you, I made a mistake, but it was not malicious.

"You must stand tall, Ron. You must courageously start over, the same way I had to after Major League Baseball subjected me to sensitivity training that made the end of A Clockwork Orange look like a stroll in the park.

Could he be back on WPON by the weekend? As I mentioned earlier, looking at there schedule-if it’s been updated Saturday and Sunday afternoons look open

Don't hold your breath.I am sure the management at WPON is aware of Ron's racial slurs.Maybe if you have a big following and can generate ratings you can survive this.Ron has the potential to do it again.He is a liability with no upside.His days on the air are over.

Sima doesn’t care about that, as long as the check clears. Ron called Martin an asshole on air, a violation of FCC rules, and wasn’t kicked off.

The meeting today was most likely with Sima or someone on his staff. Assuming the times are good (if the schedule is correct it should be), Ron will be on WPON soon. Possibly WNZK instead.

What I can't figure out is....this station must have a delay, seeing they're taking live phone calls. Did the producer/board op not hit the dump button??? Was he too busy taking the hundreds of calls(yeah right!) that Ron The Ego Master will tell you he's getting? Maybe station management told the producer to let Ron go because they knew he'd eventually cut his own throat??

If by chance our hero does land on WFDF, someone better tell him the station is NOT IN FLINT anymore. Remember, it was Ron who said Fred Heumann was working in Flint.

Well, with the, shall we say, preceived racial sensitivity of Livingston Co., this would seemingly be a perfect match for Ron.

Sounds like a reunion for Martin and Ron perhaps? Looking at their website if it is WHMI. Interesting station with a local sports presence-Ron will have to negotiate no local sports preemption, which is big on Ron’s list

I can't see Ron moving out to Howell.

It would put him closer to the Fenton Hotel, where he'd try to up his "meal allowance" because of Howell's proximity to Fenton.

Ron would have to rely on streaming since his core base is not within WHMI's signal.

I'm still going with WPON as his landing spot.
