I'm surprised, but not shocked. I'm sure the behind-the-scenes stuff from the Dominion lawsuit played a role in this decision. I was never a Tucker fan, I much preferred Bill O'Reilly.
Now let the speculation begin on his replacement. My prediction is that Hannity moves to 8pm and somebody replaces Hannity at 9. My vote would go to Mark Levin, but I doubt he wants a full time TV gig.

Mark Levin isn’t TV material…. Can anyone really stand his voice and incredible venom 5 nights a week? I’d much rather bring back Billo…bmw wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 1:06 pmI'm surprised, but not shocked. I'm sure the behind-the-scenes stuff from the Dominion lawsuit played a role in this decision. Re: Another Fox POS bites the dust!
Kinda like a Jay Leno move?
In all seriousness, IF O'Reilly was interested in coming back, while is is 73 years old, I do think he would bring in the ratings. Would never happen though.
I could also see Jesse Watters (even though I do think he is a bit of a lightweight) moved to 9PM and then a new show at 7. So Hannity at 8, Watters at 9, and Laura at 10. A snoozefest IMO but that's my best speculative prediction.
As far as people outside of the network, who is there really they could bring in that would bring in ratings? Maybe Ben Shapiro?

If you think about it hard enough, you could see....
Trump cancelling his campaign, disbanding his operation .. taking over the 8pm slot. What a move THAT would be.
And of course, right around this time next year.. he re-annonces and runs.

They should replace him with Don Lemon who was also fired today.

I've been told that people are celebrating in front of the Fox building in NYC.

Why is Carlson a "POS" as you say? Because YOU don't like his politics?teetoppz28 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 11:52 amBuh-bye Fucker Carlson!

What's your take on the Don Lemon termination? ...Oh you haven't commented on that have you?
Actually you should be praising Tucker Carlson, he was let go by FOX News for not being on board with the "Dominion Issue"
Just come out and say it, you don't like Carlson because his politics don't align with yours...
Your comments on Don Lemon please....

Tucker fully KNEW the attacks on Dominion were bullshit and went with it anyways.lidoshuffle wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 4:26 pmWhy is Carlson a "POS" as you say? Because YOU don't like his politics?teetoppz28 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2023 11:52 amBuh-bye Fucker Carlson!

And apparently, I hurt someone's little feelings. It's OK, you still have Hannity's lap to cry in. Must be difficult for you to lose Bongino AND Carlson so close to each other!

Re: Another Fox POS bites the dust!
So basically, every time Fox News settles a lawsuit, the 8 PM host is fired.
In hindsight, maybe Tucker should have seen this one coming given the somewhat similar circumstances surrounding Bill O'Reilly's ouster.
