Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
Busy, busy show ahead for Ron today. Conducting a very, very, very interesting interview of Steve McCatty, doing the PBP of what’s left of the Tigers game & celebrating Kurt's 70th birthday tomorrow all with a close eye charting our progress as we inch toward the 1000-page mark, culminating in a dramatic countdown as we possibly turn the page from 999 to 1000.

Re: Ron Cameron
Things to ponder:
Will Steve McCatty even show? If so, how long will Ron go before asking the greatest thrill question?
Will Ron have car problems again today?
How many times will Jake Rogers get mentioned?
Will Kurt complain about the Tigers not spending enough money?
What city will Meredith be in today?
Will Mr. Positive sneak in a shoutout of us?
Will Chuck give us a DCFC update?
How long will Cowboy Brad Baylis drone on before he gets the hook?
All this and less on the second longest running talk show in America!

Re: Ron Cameron
If he does, we'll probably get every variation of Ron's personal stories about other local boys who've made the majors, including John Smoltz, Steve Avery, Frank Tanana, and Bernie Carbo.
If McCatty's on, maybe Les Cain and Ike Blessitt will call in and we can have a roundtable discussion on the evil Billy Martin.
Re: Ron Cameron
When we hit the big mark, probably during the show, I hope Mr. Positive calls in and tells Ron the good news. Ron's always trying to validate his worth by telling how long he's been on the radio, etc., and maybe he will feel honored.Momo wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 10:12 am Busy, busy show ahead for Ron today. DCFC has slipped a bit, so those ownership comparisons for now may not be happeningedj wrote: ↑Sun Apr 16, 2023 11:08 am Things to ponder:

Since you guys are on the cusp of reaching your 1,000 page, I figured now was as good a time as any to log in and be the first to offer my early congratulations on the impending milestone. Just two questions though,.........did you always want to get to 1,000 pages, and do you feel page 1,000 will be your "greatest thrill"?

Re: Ron Cameron
The pro that he is mentions it's open hour this first hour, but no mention, yet, of next hour's guest.
