Jackson has jumped up to 66 but Adrian is only 61 despite Toledo being in the low 70s for an hour now. Lake Erie is definitely impeding the warm front.

Most of lower Michigan is now Tornado Watch...

Looks like tough times in Mid Michigan.

Warm front just pushed through Monroe. On this side of the state, it is a good 50+ miles farther south than the HRRR runs last night suggested it would be for this time of day.

The storms across the heart of the state are mostly heavy rain, lightning and pea sized hail producers.

Only the storms in SW Michigan near I-94 worry me.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning in Eaton County right now. WLNS just cut into programming. They've had a crawl going all morning. Doing a great job!

What app are you using for this graphic? I use RadarScope and Storm Shield.

There was a Severe Thunderstorm warning for Bay City/Saginaw already and it’s still 45 there so some of these may get rough without the front. There must be an awful lot of tumbling going on aloft.

Things are firing off pretty good… 5 Severe Thunderstorm warnings from Lansing west and southwest now… 60 mph wind gusts are the hazard.

Mainly a hail threat up that way.

There isn't anything on IOS worth a crap since Apple killed Dark Sky. Their own integration is so unreliable for text warnings, I built my own system to send me and the old lady SMS messages for AWIPS sourced alerts. It works like a champ, at least until the mobile carriers kill off my ability to send automated messages later this year.

Every app on IOS is about pretty graphics on predictions and showing you radar data that may or may not actually be real radar data. Every weather app I've tried is trash when it comes to timely, useful and stateful severe weather alerting. And there's no freaking way I'm loading a TV station's tracker-ware infested clown show app.

Just going in a different direction here for a minute, I am finding Android weather annoying AF because it mostly shows "townships" rather than the city. I think they use TWC for the source and I'm not sure you can change sources.
